Hi, I'm Barendien.
I'm passionate about dogs and helping owners build a relationship with trust and love in a fun and positive manner.
​
I'm here to help you build a solid relationship between you and your dog, from puppy training to partnership training (because obedience is so outdated) I work to give you and your dog the specific guidance needed while having lots of fun. I understand that daily life can get busy, that is why I also offer a dog walking service as well as private training lessons. Here at Barking @The Moon I only use Positive Reinforcement, reward-based training, and no harsh corrections. I'm based in Pretoria East.

DOG WALKING
Your garden doesn't always provide the variety of sensory stimulation dogs need to ward off boredom. Walks and Sniffaris are good for both exercise and mental stimulation, allowing your dog to read life's storybook and catch up on their pee-mails.

30 to 40 Minute Walks @ R 90 per dog.

PUPPY TRAINING / ADULT PARTNERSHIP TRAINING
Your puppy will learn the necessary social skills to become a confident adult dog and be comfortable in its environment. Your puppy will learn body awareness and basic cues like sit, down, focus, recall, loose lead walking and stay.
The same course outline applies to partnership training for adult dogs that missed puppy training.

6 Week Course R 1250
Class duration: 45 Minutes
​
WALK & TRAIN
This is no ordinary walk. Walk and train is a walk with a range of mental stimulation and physical exercise which includes basic partnership games (recall, loose lead walking, sit, stay, leave it etc.) all while taking your dog for a walk. Please note your dog needs to be social and non-reactive towards other dogs. Only one dog per session. I come to you.
